General Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, assessing growth and improvement opportunities, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. You will play a key role in evaluating financial performance, identifying trends, and making recommendations that drive business growth and profitability.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with and assist the manufacturing sales organization in analyzing new opportunities and assessing actual results against expectations.
  • Assist in conducting profitability and budget variance analyses for both the manufacturing and brands organizations
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly financial statements, for senior management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop forecasts and budgets
  • Assist in monthly close process, including some journal entries, billing, and inventory reconciliations
  • Participate in financial audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and identifying areas for improvement

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • At least five (5) years experience in an accounting- or finance-related role, preferably in a manufacturing environment; 1-2 years cost accounting highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
  • Proficient in financial analysis software and MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with and broad exposure to integrated ERP environments (Deacom a plus)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
