General Job Description

We are looking for an Analytical Laboratory Technician to join our team and be a contributing part of our tremendous growth!

• Maintain documentation of chemical inventory, to include manufacturers and expiration dates.
• Prepare reagents, standard and sample solutions.
• Assist with sample preparation for HPLC.
• Maintain calibration and verification logs for balances and the pH meter.
• Wash laboratory glassware.
• Participate in the peer review of analytical notebooks and data entry.
• Assist in outsourcing analytical testing.
• Operate FT-IR, HPLC and other instruments as needed.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic lab skills such as accurate weighing, mixing and dilution of materials by utilizing laboratory balances and glassware
• Keen attention to detail and scientific documentation skills
• Willingness to learn
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Minimum of 1-year previous experience in cGMP/GLP regulated environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a life science is preferred.
